This Month's Topic

This event is scheduled for 3pm Eastern Daylight Time/12pm Pacific Daylight Time.

This month, hear from John Chen, who will cover the story of The Paper Son - The Immigrant's Dream and Journey of Hope. The Paper Son is the story of how his grandfather immigrated to the United States and turned hope into success.

Learn how a farmer from China beat the odds and used creativity and innovation to immigrate into the United States. He put 5 kids through college with a 3rd grade education, of them are PhDs. When you hear The Paper Son, you will learn a story most haven't heard, be inspired by the persistence to overcome challenges, and be inspired to do more.

The NACE AAPI Caucus invites NACE members of Asian American and Pacific Islander descent and anyone who is interested in supporting the well-being, recruitment, retention, support and advancement of Asians in the hospitality industry. Come to learn, discuss, and meet like-minded members who want to share and educate everyone about Asian identities and issues. We're here to support AAPI student and professional talent and leadership so everyone is welcome to join and connect.

NACE Members and non-members are all welcome.

This is a recurring meeting on the third Thursday of the month at the same time, however, you will need to register individually for each you plan to attend. The December meeting will be held on the second Thursday of the month because of the holidays.
