Join us this month with our guest speaker, Zena Phillips, a seasoned leader and mentor with over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Zena's current role is Senior Director, Americas Sales Operations at Hilton and she has also held executive positions at the Conrad New York, Conrad Miami and the Waldorf Astoria New York. She is a Past President of the @nacefoundation and a member of Chief, the only private membership network of women executive leaders. We look forward to hearing about her incredible career and how she grew to become such an influential leader.

We will share our personal journeys, travel experiences, self-discovery, and the process of achieving goals of being AAPI. Our stories of growth, challenges, resilience, and the unique paths that have led us to where we are today will surely enlighten everyone in the room that we are not alone in our journey.


The NACE AAPI Caucus invites NACE members of Asian American and Pacific Islander descent and anyone who is interested in supporting the well-being, recruitment, retention, support and advancement of Asians in the hospitality industry. Come to learn, discuss, and meet like-minded members who want to share and educate everyone about Asian identities and issues. We're here to support AAPI student and professional talent and leadership so everyone is welcome to join and connect.

    With over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Zena is a seasoned leader and mentor who excels in sales, catering, and events management. As the Senior Director of Americas Sales Operations at Hilton, she lead all sales-related business development efforts for Hilton's newly acquired managed assets in the Americas, bringing new hotels into their managed portfolio and maximizing their revenue potential.

    Zena is passionate about developing top talent and mentoring the next generation of hospitality leaders, as well as being an active member of Chief, a private network for women executives. She holds an MBA from the University of Florida, a Master Certificate in Hospitality Administration from Cornell University, and professional certifications in meeting planning and catering excellence. She is also an EIC Pacesetter, an award that recognizes emerging leaders and industry supporters who exhibit individual excellence based on innovation, impact, vision, leadership, and other achievements.
