Speakers Joe Kunitz Kitchen Coalition
Ashleyn Przedwiecki Founder & Creative Director of Luum Collective
Joe manages the daily operations of Kitchen Coalition, a program of Second Harvest Heartland Food Bank, overseeing the logistics and relationships that transform donated products at the food bank into delicious meals in the hands of our neighbors. In the last four years, the program has grown to 18 kitchens, 100+ distribution partners, and over 6 million meals produced by the community for the community by harnessing the power of the food bank and the creativity of local restaurants and community organizations. Prior to joining Kitchen Coalition, Joe earned his degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, then followed his passion for food as a cook and chef in several of Minneapolis’ best restaurant kitchens. Joe lives in south Minneapolis with his family and dogs and loves exploring all of our amazing trails on foot or by bike.
Ashleyn PrzedwieckiFounder & Creative Director of Luum Collective Ashleyn Przedwiecki (Ash-lynn, Prz-wick-ee) is a seasoned event professional with over 9+ years of experience in the industry with a background in nonprofit, arts & culture, and creative placemaking, with an emphasis on sustainable design, social impact, and community engagement. She is a certified Sustainable Event Manager through the Events Industry Council and studied at MCAD through the Master’s program in Sustainable Design. She is the Founder and Creative Director at Luum Collective, an event and design agency on a mission to bring sustainability and social good into the event industry. LUUM Collective provides event and creative services, support for existing event teams, consulting, and a suite of resources for planners and organizations.
