After 24 years in the garment decorating business/promotional products industry, 2 sisters from Bloomington (Missy โ whose motivation is creativity and Amy โ whoโs driven by numbers) decided that it was time to take a risk and launch their own brand. After lots of thought, they decided that there just wasnโt enough access to quality chocolate in the suburbs. Chocolate is a universal mood booster and a great gift item โ it should be readily available for everyone. They proceeded to establish the flagship store in Bloomington, MN. Their goal was to create an โeveryday chocolate shopping experienceโ complete with tasting samples, unique packaging with engaging graphics and gourmet chocolate choices โ all housed in retail stores that have an artistic, comfortable and eclectic feel. The niche market they were trying to fill was a gift market โ a โgo toโ gift that everyone would drool over.

It would be a fast-growing family of restaurants driven by its promise and purpose to serve the community. Purpose Driven Restaurants was formed in 2019 as an act of good faith by the Ingram family. It has weathered a pandemic; fed health care workers, protesters and the unemployed; served as a free community kitchen and food bank; established a non-profit (Give Hope) to benefit restaurant workers in the Twin Cities metro area. Since 2019, Give Hope has donated more than 300,000 free meals, 2 million pounds of food and gifted $225,000 in relief grants to local families in need.
